Interest is calculated using the ECB deposit facility rate minus 0.25% p.a. on the balance of a separately opened interest account up to a maximum of 100,000.00 USD. The excess amount up to 1,000,000 is subject to a discount of 0.5% on the ECB deposit facility rate. Amounts over 1,000,000 are not interest-bearing. Interest is paid retrospectively on a quarterly basis.
